When placing H-stake in the yard, ensure that it goes at least 6 inches into the ground to give the tree proper stability and support. Installing your tree is easiest in moist soil. If your soil is dry, pour 1 gallon of water onto the area and allow the liquid to soak in. Push the bottom prongs into the soil until they are completely covered. No tools required.
