The 1/2" threaded PVC swivel hose adapter is designed for use with 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC tubing and where a connection is need between a standard garden hose thread and PVC pipe. The Hose Adapter has a slip fitting and requires PVC cement for water tight operation, but is easily applied following the directions given on the PVC cement can.
