Silver-plated by Gorham, the metal base is composed of six whimsical snowmen, a tall one holding a broom on which a bird perches alternating with a short one bearing a small tree. A circular shelf holds the glass votive off a table. The glass itself is etched with a peaceful forest scene at night: evergreen trees, stars, and a full moon allow the flicker of candlelight to show through. A votive candle is included.
