Product Description

100% Cotton Wick is of superior quality even when compared to more popular brands such as Dietz and Lamplight. We've worked hard in finding the highest quality replacement wick available. This cotton fiber wick is 100% natural and works best with paraffin and kerosene oil based lanterns. Trim the wick to your desired length. c Proper Capillary action is the essential component ensuring bright flame and even tempered burn. Proper use of this product coupled with the right fuel source will ensure a clean even tempered burn with a strong glowing smokeless flame..Citronella oil is also adequate with this product. Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Sesame Oil, and the like are not highly advisable sources of fuel as their flashpoint is not sufficient to sustain an even burn, unless of course used with the proper application. Flat cotton wick can be used with multiple makes and models of oil lamps and lanterns. Here is a reference guide of just a few for your consideration: 7/8" flat wick. Fits: Dietz #2 Lanterns, #8 Air Pilot, #30 Beacon, #70 Crescent, #80 Blizzard, #90 D-Lite, and #2500 Jupiter. Also Fits W.T. Kirkman #2 Champion and Wizard, and all #2 Lanterns made by Embury, C.T.
