Chimney Brush Kit,8" Round

Designed for homeowners, this kit is a complete set of tools to clean your chimney. The kit includes an 8" diameter round wire chimney brush, pull ring, 25' of rope, and a wire scratch brush. Build-up of creosote and soot that accumulates on the chimney walls reduces the draft needed by the stove or fireplace. Creosote is flammable and can easily fuel a chimney fire. Methodical cleanings through the heating season combined with proper burning of fuel and synthetic use of effective creosote and soot inhibitors, provides the best solution for trouble-free performance. In addition to the items in the Chimney Cleaning Kit, it is advisable to have a protective covering for furniture and floors, a metal pail, and a small shovel. Carefully measure the inside diameter of the flue opening to determine the correct brush size to select. An oversize brush will not improve cleaning action and could become lodged int the chimney.
